Is anyone out there?

Is life to easy for me?

I ask only because I hear and read of all the pain and suffering around me that I can’t help but believe I am blessed.

My father has just been diagnosed with cancer. My profession takes me away from my family for months at a time and I miss them dearly. I see shootings everyday on the news. I see angry people everyday. I see homeless people everyday. I see on the news the religious attacks on our own soil that kill and maim many. I see the differences in opinion that literally causes rioting, hatred and physical violence in our election process. These are but a few mentions, of the current affairs in my life.

Yet with scripture I can feel the presence of God in my life and know I must have life way to easy.

Is it just me ?
